SCJ UMM Leadership voted in a new slate of officers to serve through the end of 2026. Former SCJ President Joe Kelley, who filled the remainder of Kenneth Tilke’s tenure and then served in his own elected term, has stepped down due to health issues. (Joe is swiftly recovering and doing well and continues to provide leadership in the Louisiana Annual Conference.)

Unanimously elected, each of the following experienced leaders bring many decades of dedicated service to the SCJ United Methodist Men:

PRESIDENT: Charles (Chuck) McGarity, former UMM President of the Rio-Texas Annual Conference.
1st VICE PRESIDENT: Mark Lubbock, outgoing UMM President of the Louisiana Annual Conference.
SECRETARY: Robert Wright, UMM President of the Texas Annual Conference.
TREASURER: Clyde Ellis of the Louisiana Annual Conference.
UMM FOUNDATION REP: Wayne Prejean, Former Louisiana Annual Conference President.
